5 Holiday Gifts for the Barre Fanatic

Last minute shopping?  I know I am!

In addition to the Nike Studio Wrap Pack I mentioned earlier in the week, here's the skinny on my top 5 picks for the barre lover.

1.  CyndiBands Elastic hair ties.  They come in TONS of different colors and they won't dent your hair like a normal ponytail holder would.  When they're not in my hair, they're on my wrist.   I have to say, one, or two or three of these babies make a nice addition to my bracelet collection.  They're a much more fashionable option vs. a good 'ol elastic. They recently launched their holiday collection which features a mix of colors and sparkle, making them a perfect stocking stuffer option.  Side note:  I had the pleasure of meeting Cyndi at an event we did together in Los Angeles. So I'm all for supporting entrepreneurs and small businesses. Read her story here.

2.  The barre3 core ball.   A must-have!   Utilize this squishy, little ball while doing your core (or arm work.)  Tuck it right underneath your sacrum (that little triangular bone above your tailbone) to zone into your transverse abdominals.  The best thing about it, it takes pressure off of your joints. Great for at-home workouts or when you're on the go.   As barre3 recommends, "Need a pillow? A quick toy to occupy your toddler while you make dinner? Some extra lower-back support when you’re sitting at your desk? Your tried-and-true barre3 Core Ball is there for you." I know it has been for me!  At only $14, how can you go wrong?

3.  Athleta Plié Tight Confession.  I really want these.  You need the right workout gear while you're in studio. Not only do these look great on, they feel good too.  Not too heavy, not too light. Just perfect.  "Ballet-inspired, this Pilayo® tight features lightweight Pilayo® cuffs for scrunching or wearing over your heels" (or bare feet).   They come in 2 different colors: dress blue and black.   Free shipping for all orders over $50.  Order them now!

4.  OPI Barre My Soul nail polish.  A simple, neutral color for your toes or your fingers, OPI Soft Shades do not disappoint. At $8, nail polish always makes quick and easy stocking stuffer.  Another go-to is of course Essie's classic Ballet Slippers.

5.  bkr: the bottle.   Clean, chic design.  I was smitten at first sight.  These glass bottles come equipped with colorful silicone covers and are BPA-free.  They've also been seen in the hands of celebs Jessica Alba, Reese Witherspoon and Emmy Rossum (if you're into that sort of thing!)  Holds 16 oz of water or your fave drink and are 100% recyclable and reusable. Your barre lover will be thirsty, so quench her thirst with a bkr bottle. $28
